are also the product of the fall of man. You are a sinner. You're not unique that way. We all are. And that's not because of our individual sins. Those are the symptoms, not the disease. We are not sinners because we sin. We sin because we are sinners. Our sin will keep us from a relationship with God. God cannot associate with sin. That is why Jesus died on the cross, to take the punishment we deserve and take away the barrier between us and God. Then Jesus Christ rose from the grave. He defeated sin AND death and, if we believe, our eternal destiny is assured because of him.
The thing is: God does not tell us when our departure time is. No warning. No boarding call. We simply find ourselves standing before Him. (or perhaps we find ourselves on our faces in his presence) Even if you have a disease and think you know about when you might pass, you don't KNOW.
And when you stand before God, the ONLY thing that will matter is your answer in THIS life to the big question. Jesus leaves us no wiggle room, no middle ground. Either you admit you are a sinner and accept his gift of salvation or you don't.
So………..
Who do YOU say that Jesus is?
